Just thought I'd let you guys in on a couple of tools I've been working on.

The first is a photo-upload tool, to allow users to upload their own pictures to the site. This is done anonymously, and is very easy.

The second tool is an interactive map where we are going to start tracking tenant's issues. Right now I'm still loading the database with address information for apartment buildings I can find in the area. I have a fairly complete list of CapReit address already.

Once I have the list updated I'll start adding the other information. Plan to include pest control issues, poor management, poor maintenance, etc. The ultimate goal is to have an interactive map of the GTA listing all buildings that have substandard conditions.

Shouldn't you know these things before you decide to move into a building? I think you should!

Welcome to our new website. Some areas of the site are still being worked on, however we are trying to get this information online as soon as possible.

Once we complete the areas we are currently working on we have a new tool planned as well. We are looking at building a tool that would allow people to rate and comment on specific properties. This would be a good way to find out which landlords are actually the worst.
